Bath in Fashion, Day 1 - Joules Lookbook

Bath has been yarnbombed, but why? Fashionista's, listen in, it's Bath in Fashion (BIF) week! BIF selected The Forever Friends Appeal, the charity for the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath, as their chosen charity "to help raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Care Campaign." (www.foreverfriendsappeal.co.uk) As part of the fashion event taking place this week, BIF and The Forever Friends Appeal have worked together (along with an army of talented knitters and crochet makers) to make a large yarnbomb which you'll see decorates Milsom Street, and, what a result! The city has been transformed...

For those of you who already know, Bath has long been a fashionable, stylish destination thanks to its many wonderful independent shops and well-known high street brands that line the cobbled streets. In case you are unaware, fashionistas have descended upon the city this week; everything from catwalk shows, to exhibitions and fashion fairs are taking place until Sunday 24th April. To find out where to be and when, please visit Bath in Fashion for the week's jam packed line up.

To celebrate Bath In Fashion, I will be putting together a series of lookbooks over the coming week, highlighting some of BIF's participating brands. I am kickstarting off with Joules, a fabulous British label, which time and again, design timeless, elegant pieces. My lookbook takes inspiration from some of their 'new' lines. I absolutely love the summery pops of colour, especially the pinks and limes which I feel compliment one another so well. A girl can never have too many shoes, or bags, or pieces of jewellery, or dresses...!

It's a look I feel you could dress up or down; slip on a smarter pair of shoes and you're good to go for an evening out, or, feel less formal with these cute espadrilles and this soft cardigan wrapped around your shoulders. Let me know what you think, do you like the look?!
