Competition Time! Win an Alice Tait 'Map of Bath' Print!

Popular British, Bath based Illustrator, Alice Tait, has kindly agreed to give away a gorgeous 'Map of Bath' print to one lucky follower of The Bathonian!  The print can be personalised, should the winner request it. However, for now, it is time to start retweeting the competition post and following @TheBathonian on Twitter, for your chance to win this wonderful piece of artwork. You've got to be in it to win it!...

Alice's "illustrations are drawing based, with early influences from printmaking and a love of typefaces and handwriting." (www.alicetaitshop.com) She has created a beautiful collection of gift prints and products that are in constant demand. A number of products from Alice's 'London Range' fill the shelves of John Lewis...

... from tea towels, water bottles, eraser sets, to mugs, tote bags and much, much more! You can also spot her fabulous artwork in major London attractions such as the Royal Palaces. Alice has worked for the likes of Chanel, Vogue, Jamie Oliver, Penguin Books, The Folio Society, Habitat, The FT and Waitrose. She is currently working on her very first children's book too (which I cannot WAIT to see once it is published - watch this space!)

Alice began her career selling her iconic 'Map of London' on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. She has since grown her portfolio of artwork to include her delightful London Soldiers, Great British Dogs, Ooh La La (amongst others), as well as maps of Paris, New York and Rome (also amongst others!) All of the gift prints are printed in the UK on top quality paper, and come ready packaged in clear cellophane sleeves. Alice will happily add a personalised message in pencil (up to 25 characters long) at the bottom of any of her prints. This adds a lovely touch, especially if you are buying as a gift! Messages such as "Happy Birthday Mum," or "With love on your Christening day" prove popular examples.

You can find all of Alice's artwork over on her website: www.alicetaitshop.com

Definitely take a look :) You might want to put the kettle on and make yourself a nice cup of tea whilst you have a good browse; there's lots to look at and shop for!

Please note, the winner (who will be chosen at random) will be announced on Twitter on the 1st April 2016 - Good luck!!!

***UPDATE - This competition has now CLOSED. Naomi Miller was our winner of Alice Tait's gorgeous 'Map of Bath' print!!! Congratulations Naomi!***
