I recently discovered Yummly; an online recipe community for connecting chefs, food bloggers and home cooks. The site enables you to search for recipes and pop those that take your fancy into your own online 'Recipe Box,' but this is only once you have set up your own Yummly account.

If you are new to blogging like me, and regularly post homemade recipes to your website, then I strongly recommend setting up a Yummly account. It's very quick and easy to do, and it will certainly help increase the number of readers visiting your site, and of course all those yummy recipes! If you check out any of my prior recipes, such as the 'Cheeky Chocolate Brownies' you'll notice the red 'Yum' button in the top left hand corner of that post. If you would like to save that recipe and come back to it at a later date, then all you have to do is Yum (like) that button. My recipe will then automatically appear in your own recipe box, from your own Yummly account.

Here is an example of how you will see my recipes appear on Yummly:

Another great addition to using Yummly is that the site attempts to calculate the nutritional information for each serving of a recipe. Ideal if you are trying to be careful of how many calories you consume.
