Royal Victoria Park - Bath
Today feels like the first official frosty February morning we have had so far this year! The sun's rays are beaming through the windows and the air is crisp and fresh; bound to lift any spirit and do the soul some good!!! With this in mind, I decided to switch up my morning routine in favour of a peaceful countryside walk to Royal Victoria Park in Bath...
Daffodils means spring is on it's way... :D
I bumped into Mr Squirrel who was quite cross with me for disturbing him during his breakfast! Apologies, the image is slightly fuzzy and blurred, but I had to take a close-up on my iPhone and it never turns out so well when I do!
Bath has many great walking spots to explore; there are various green parks dotted around the city for quiet strolls as well as the iconic 'Bath Skyline Walk' for keen walkers, or those who simply fancy taking the family out for a weekend walk. If you venture up to Bathwick Hill, the 6 mile Skyline Walk will take you through beautiful woodlands, small meadows and hidden valleys. For the route details, please see here. Boasting 'extensive views over Bath and out towards the Blackdown Hills' according to visitbath.co.uk, it is certainly worth donning your hiking boots on for! If you are interested in finding out more about local attractions and things to do in and around the city, then head to visitbath.co.uk.
