HI THERE! WELCOME TO THE BATHONIAN
My name is Georgie and I live in the city of Bath with my husband, Scott and our (fur) baby, Winnie! We moved here in August 2o13 from Putney due to Scott's career, and we both agree it was the best move we could ever have made!
I started The Bathonian as a hobby, in October 2015, whilst working part-time for popular British illustrator Alice Tait. Slowly but surely, my blog was becoming much more a part of my everyday life. So in the autumn of 2017, I decided to take a leap of faith and to focus all my time and energy on The Bathonian. My passion is to write, and having studied English as part of my degree at the University of Durham (quite some time ago!), I wanted to find an outlet for my creativity. So, when my husband began to teach me the basics of photography I soon realised that my blog would be an exciting way to document my travels in Bath and beyond.
I really hope you enjoy following my adventures and should you wish to get in touch, please visit my contact page. Thank you.

- My most memorable dining experience to date was a trip to Fäviken in Åre, Sweden.
- A treasured memory that will live with me forever was the moment I stood in front of the Taj Mahal in Agra - India.

I use Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 and Adobe Lightroom to edit all of my photos.
Do you do collaborations?
Yes, for sure! I love the opportunity to collaborate with brands and businesses. Should you wish to discuss any potential work opportunities with me, please do get in contact.
*As noted on my individual blog posts, all collaborations or invites are clearly disclosed to my readers. Please note that I only post honest reviews of my experiences.
Tell me more about your Video Q&A sessions?
The aim of my video Q&A sessions is to introduce new and existing readers of my blog to the people and businesses of Bath and beyond, by promoting who they are and what they do via a short film. If you have a brand or business you would like to promote in Bath or further afield, please do get in contact so we can discuss this further. Thank you!
